Hoover's Ride and Moss Falls

Saturday we woke up and got ready to leave on our RZR ride by 8.  We made a huge 135 mile loop from Fillmore to Meadow, up over Kanosh under I-70, up over the Kimberly Mountains, ate at Hoovers, followed a map which ended up being wrong and took us into Monroe, Then we took some back roads into Elsinore, under I-70 up over the mountain to Sandrock and down into Fillmore.  Home Sweet Home. We ended up being gone almost twelve hours and going about 135 miles.
This ride was a lot of fun we had a bunch of people that went with us. There was Victor, Jessica and their Daughter, Trevor, Jonathan and his wife, four guys from New Zealand who are here working on some stuff at the Cheese Plant and Our whole Family.

It was a long day but a fun one.

Sunday Morning we got up and Cody ask Me if I would want to go on a little hike.
I said sure that will be fun so we packed our bags with a fishing pole and hot dogs and headed out.
Our goal was to get here to Moss Falls it was a 2 mile hike in. I had a hard time on part of the hike where it was super steep. I am glad I didn't give up and made it all the way.

Once we got there and took a few pictures we got out the fishing pole to try and catch some lunch. Cody and Gav went with the pole and Sayd and I stayed with Hoss at camp.  Sayd and I got bored so we tied up the dog and made a pole with a stick and line, we put a worm on the hook and headed out and we ended up catching one with it LOL.
Gav and Cody ended up catching three more and we took them up to cook them.  The kids enjoyed trying the fish they had just caught.

We ate the fish and some hot dogs and got ready to hike back down so that we were back before dark.
We all had so much fun and its so pretty up there I can't wait to go back.

Thanks for the fun day Honey. I know it was hard for me at times but I really can't wait to do this again. I just love this fun Family time and can't get enough of it.

Way Too Much Fun

So this is my all in one catch up page. There are quite a few things to go over. We went up north for a couple days to spend time with Cody's Sis and her cute kids.  We went to the Living Planet Aquarium which the kids just loved.  I can't get over how cute baby Cody and Skylie are they are so precious.
These are some of the fun thing we got to see.
After the Aquarium we went back to Shandi's place and let the kids swim.
Skylie got so worn out that she ended up falling asleep in her little float raft. We had such a fun time and I can't wait to do it again. Pretty soon we get to have Baby Cody for a week and I can't wait.
We went up to Mountain Sheep a few weekends ago to have a little fire and roast hot dogs with friends.  Cody got talking to my Uncle Paul who is now almost 80 years old and he told Cody how back when he was in scouts he named Mountain Sheep. Isn't that crazy it was a small scout camp back in the day and its one of our favorite spots to go and my Uncle was the one that named it. After our picnic we went up further to the snow drift which was still so big we couldn't get through it and had to turn around in a scary spot.  I wasn't about to stay in for that I got out. LOL

Gav has been playing T-Ball he has fun but I think it is about time that he plays on a little more advanced team. Its crazy both kids are playing and they both ended up in Orange uniforms.
Sayd started Softball and in this group the kids pitch to eachother. Its way more advanced but she was doing great til we found out that in the first game when the ball hit her hand it fractured it.  She has to wear a cast now for 6-8 weeks which is all of softball she is so bummed.
Last weekend Cody left for his two week Guard AT which we dread every year and we miss him so much. Chloe and my Moms b-days are on the 9th and Chloe wanted her party at the lake.  Saturday morning we got up early and headed for Otter Creek lake to see the Fam.
We put our poles out but nothing was biting by the time we got there at nine.  We reeled them in and the kids just played birthday games and had so much fun.
Sayds poor little hand, I feel so bad that it makes it pretty much impossible for her to play  anymore.

The kids and I made Cody a birthday cake before he left because his birthday is on the 10th and he wasn't going to be home.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY WE LOVE YOU....
