Hogle Zoo

So we went to the Zoo last weekend and had a blast. The kids loved all of the animals. We went with Jason and Misti Frampton and their kids.

The kids love running around with each other.

We went on the little train ride the kids thought it was pretty fun.

I was quite surprised when Saydee wanted to sit by me. She really is such a Daddy's Girl.

This was my Favorite part the new baby elephant she was so cute. The zoo keepers were spraying here with water and she was playing in it. SO SO CUTE...

Gav got a lion and wont put it down both of the kids love their new stuffed animals and play zoo with them.

Just a Few Things Going On

So the other day Gavin thought it was funny to jump on my leg. Well it really hurt so the third time he went to do it I kind of rolled him across the floor. He got mad and said I don't like you mom and went and hid behind the couch.

Well about 10 minutes later we went to check on him and he had fallen asleep back there.

Last weekend when my Dad was out hunting my Mom stayed with us. We had a lot of fun especially the kids. Grandma made puppets with them and everything they think she is the greatest.

The kids wanted to sleep in a tent so Cody made them one. I was surprised that they didn't wake each other up rolling around on the same bed.

Starting Of The Elk Hunt...

This year my Uncle Ken got a big bull elk tag for the Oak Creek area. So on Saturday my Dad, Ken and Cousin Jake went out to look for something. They didn't have any luck but his tag goes until November.

Here are some pictures that my Dad took they are pretty neat.

They had Jake's 4-wheeler and both of ours they said that is was fun.

Seeing all of these pictures gets me so excited to go deer hunting this year. Cody and I both got tags and we hope we will at least see something big to shoot at.

Tomatoes, Tomatoes

My garden finally has been getting quite a few tomatoes on at one time. Today I went out and picked and this is what I got. I decided to bottle them and see how many bottles I would get. When I was done I had 7 quarts of tomatoes, and 1 quart of tomato juice. I have been bottling as they come on so most of the time I am only getting 4 pints at a time.

For the Labor Day weekend we went camping up Beaver Canyon.

How often do you see this kind of food while you are camping. Deep fried potatoes, onion rings, and chicken strips. How yummy...
