Yesterday we went for a ride up above Holden in the Nissan looking for deer. Well we only saw about 10 and none of them were bucks what luck. We ended up taking this little road that we had never been on and had no idea where it went. I actually think that it turned into a 4-wheeler road after some point. It was long and bumpy and took us deep into the mountains. On the way up we had passed these logs and I had thought those would work good by the fire pit but I didn't say anything.
Meanwhile we kept driving and squeezing the Nissan through places I don't think it was meant to go but we made it. On the way back down I told Cody that I would love to take those logs home to go by the fire pit. So being the great husband he is he said we can try to get them in. At first we only thought we could get two in but Cody said we could try to get all three.
This is the third and final log he had to slide it on top of the other two but it didn't slide very well. Cody had to turn it and move it to fit and at one point it almost fell out but we got it. I should say he got it because I was out there to help but I wasn't really able to help.
We had to stop a few times on the way down to situate the top log because it kept rolling and almost fell out a couple times. One time all three logs pushed the tailgate partway open and we had to fix that too. We did make it home with all of them and the next thing is to make them into seats to go by the fire pit. I'm glad I have a husband that could lift them into the truck. And was willing to do it just because I wanted them I love you honey thanks.
