We went for a ride up the Canyon the other day and couldn't believe how many leaves had already turned colors. It is so pretty up there I love to take rides and see the pretty sites of nature. Cody picked Saydee some of the red leaves she loves them. She even told him what tree to get them off of. While this was going on Gavin was taking a well needed nap in his car seat.
On our ride we were gone for more then an hour we thought we would see some deer but that wasn't the case. Maybe next time we will be lucky enough to see some hopefully a monster buck.

Cody & The Kids
Cody is just playing around with the kids aren't they cute. Saydee likes to be right on top jumping all over him and then Gavin usually joins in. Sometimes it can get a little out of hand if you ask me.
I thought this picture of Saydee was cute it is hard for me to get a cute one of her because she tries to hide when she see's the camera.
Gavin fell asleep on Cody's lap. Gavin likes to snuggle this is different for us because Saydee never really liked to. Cody looks asleep but he wasn't they are so cute together I just love it.
So the other day I was making lunch and came to get the kids and found this in my front room. They said we are making a train and when I got in there they were still getting out more toys at least they were being good. You can just tell that they are full of it can't you.
Saydee had to make a family tree for school and after that was finished I let the kids do there own thing and this is how it turned out. We had glue and water paints every where but they were proud of what they had done. Their pictures are still hanging on the fridge. Gavin loves to cut things so he was cutting and gluing leaves on his. Saydee was mostly using paints and glitter glue she loves that stuff.

***A look back at good times***
Taking a look back and all the fun my friends and I had. This is Jessica and I being a little crazy and some of the pictures are from when we went and stayed at her Aunt Sue's house in the summer. I am so glad I had a Best Friend like her you are awesome.
Jana and I were also good friends and did a lot together not to long ago she was here in town and we would go to the gym together. She has now moved up north and I don't see her very often. I miss you Jana.
Cody took me to my junior prom we had been seeing each other for close to a year. He had already graduated but he took me anyways if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have had a date to the prom high school boys are immature. Love you honey
This was one of mine and Cody's favorite things to do we would go and spend a weekend at the dunes it got a little crazy sometimes. I was scared of going around the bowl of the dunes just look at how big they are scary.
These are pictures of a lot of my friends starting at the top from left to right Ashley, Jana, Jessica, Kaycie, Heather and Me. Where Heidi was I don't know. We had a lot of fun together staying out late and getting crazy sometimes I miss those time. Love you guys.

~~A Years Worth of Letters and More~~
For the past few days I have been sorting all the letters, cards, e-mails, pictures, and newspapers that Cody, the kids and I sent back and forth for one year. This was a bigger task then I had planned. I wanted them the be in some sort of order.
Just getting them in and in order has taken me 2 days and I would be done with that if I wouldn't have ran out of page protectors. There is probably at least 150 things that I have cut and pasted onto pages.
I am glad that Cody kept everything and brought it home these were all the homemade Christmas ornaments that I made to go on this little tree that I stuffed in a box and sent over to him. That was one of the only things he couldn't fit to bring back. The ornaments are made of pictures of Family and Friends.
This is were I am at I made it to the month of January so I only have just about 5 of the months left. By the time it is all done the scrapbook is going to be so stuffed full it isn't funny but I don't want to make two. It has been kind of fun looking back on everything reading letters and emails we sent to each other. The experience of Cody being gone I think has made us a stronger couple and more understanding. Don't get me wrong that year was the worst I look back on it and I don't know how I did it and hopefully I never have to do it again.

The Weekend @ Grandma Marshall's
This weekend we went to St. George because Tanner was getting Baptized this picture was taken afterwards at the lunch. The kids were getting restless and decided to start making tents. This tent is one of three that were in the house and they were all in different rooms Looks like fun. Just look at the kids they can't stand themselves they are having so much fun.
Saydee loves Grandpa's new puppy Jac and will hardly give him a minute by himself. She helps Grandpa keep an eye on him and play with him. She absolutely loves that dog.
Grandma Marshall got a hold of Baby Taelor and she fell fast asleep. There is no better place to be then in a Grandmas arms. Thank goodness for Grandmas. This weekend was a nice break I took Saydee with me and Cody kept Gavin at home. The kids behave much better when they are separated. The only part that was hard was when Grandmas air conditioner went out and it got up to 84 degrees in the house it was hot we had all the fans going and we were still sweating. Grandma had someone come and fix it shortly after so it was only for a few hours.

The Toad
Saydee and I were walking out to the car after dark and we saw what I thought was a rock on the sidewalk I bent down to put it back in the flower bed and it hopped it was a Toad.
Saydee and I caught it and then she wanted to show everyone so we took it into the house. Aunt Sandi wanted to see it and it peed on her hee hee just kidding. After that Saydee didn't want to hold it anymore because it might pee on her. We decided to let it go but the next night Saydee wanted to try to find it we looked and looked with no success. Saydee likes to tell people when she was holding it it started to make noises. We found the toad at my Grandma Marshall's.Posted by mandy85 at 10:37 AM 0 comments

~~THE TILING PROJECT~~
So this is the beginning of a 5 day tiling project we didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into. We found out that we had to put up something called cement board which is a pain in the butt to cut we went through 3 or 4 saw blades. Putting it up was even harder we broke probably 8 to 10 screwdriver bits what a pain. Once we tackled that the tile started to go up. When we were cutting some of it the kids decided to play in the Nissan and Gavin climbed right on the top he thought it was funny I didn't.
When we started the tile we had a few things we had to work around like the bathroom wasn't square and the kids always trying to help but they were just getting under our feet taking tools and everything else they could get there little hands on.
Finally the tile is up and it is ready for the grout that was my job and it wasn't very fun if you ask me. The grout you have to squish into all the little cracks and then wipe it off after it dries what a mess. I forgot to take a picture when I was doing it but I had grout everywhere the tub was covered and even the floor. Finally 5 days after we started what we thought would be a 2 day project we are done and here it is the finished product.
I would like to say I did it and take the credit but it was Cody really the only thing I did was put in the grout. Cody had a hard time getting everything to line up but in the end it looks awesome. Thanks Honey.
We had Brandon and Tiffanie pick us up a few things when they were up north like some of the small tiles to go around the window and the top of the shower and a shower head. Thanks guys if it wasn't for you we would still be in a mess. We love our new bathroom and its cool we did it. I never knew that taking a shower would be so great it was awesome.

Sleepover Party
This weekend Saydee went down to help at Chloe's Grandparents when they were constructing the tree house. Tia brought Saydee back and the girls just wanted to play but it had been a long day for all of us so Chloe went back with Tia even though she wanted to stay. The next day Landon, Tia and Chloe came to visit and to let Chloe, Saydee and Gavin play. Chloe wanted to have a sleepover with Saydee so I let her. It was a little crazy at times but that is how it always is with those two just ask Tia. They got out every toy in the kids room which made an ocean of toys you couldn't even walk through. I had to convince them to help me pick them all up. When it came bedtime for all of us the kids made a bed on the floor and got ready for a movie to my surprise Saydee and Chloe stayed awake through the whole movie. They went in on Saydee's bed as soon as their heads hit the pillows they were asleep. I think my night went pretty good whenever they stay at Tia's they get into some kind of trouble like painting everything and one time squishing play dough in the carpet. KIDS WE GOT TO LOVE THEM
