Our Weekend

So this weekend Cody had Guard Friday, Saturday and Sunday luckily he got home before noon Sunday so we could have some family time. We decided to go up the Canyon which was suppose to open on the 30th but when we got to the gate it was still locked. We went down the low road instead and drove as far as we could in the little truck.

When we got stopped the kids had fun throwing rocks into the stream. Gavin scared me a little because he wanted to be right up close to the edge to throw his.

We found a big lizard and Cody caught it so the kids could play with it.

Cody wanted to see if it could swim and it could pretty fast to.

Gavin wanted to hold it and it was funny it straightened out and played dead at least it think that's what it was doing. Then he wanted to throw it in the puddle to. Saydee was kind of scared of it and wouldn't hold it. After letting the kids play with it for a while we put it back where we caught it and left.

Then we went up to the hieroglyphics and the kids wanted to go in the cave.

So Cody took them in and they thought it was the coolest thing.

So today Gavin came in and said I picked this for you. He is always picking the flowers and bring them to me. The flower beds aren't going to have any flowers left if he doesn't stop picking them.
