CHERRY JAM

So Yesterday we went and picked cherries at Kens we picked 2 grocery bags for us and 3 to send down south to Grandma Marshall's. It took us an hour to pick them and when we were done you couldn't even tell we had picked any the tree still had millions on it. By the mess on Gavin's face you can tell that he ate as many as he picked.

So when we got done I juiced one whole bag and got 12cups of juice. Then today I pitted enough to make 4 cups crushed. I made 3 batches of Cherry jam 11 jars and there was a little left that we will have to eat. This was my first time making Cherry anything so I hope it is good. We still have enough to make 2 more batches that I will probably do Tomorrow. Juicing and pitting cherries isn't much fun I did it all by hand because I don't have a juicer or a pitter. I guess it didn't take as long as I thought it would I am glad I didn't go and spent money on those things when I can get it done by hand.
