HOMEMADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

So this is the first time I have made homemade chicken noodle soup by myself. It turned out so yummy I can't wait for dinner tonight.

Chicken soup
10 cups broth
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp chopped dried onions (or you can chop your own it just really bothers my eyes)
1 1/2 tbsp parsley dried
3-4 cups carrots chopped
2-3 cups celery chopped
2-3 cups left over chicken
Let all of this simmer or a slow boil for 20 minutes while you make the noodles.

Egg Noodles
2 cups flour
2 tsp salt
3 egg yolks
1 whole egg
1/2 cup water

sift flour and salt then slowly mix the eggs in don't mix to long then add water 1tbsp at a time or if using a mixer mix all at once just don't over mix. If it is to sticky add just a little flour until it pulls away for the side of the bowl. Flour surface roll dough 1/4 inch thick and cut in thin noodle like slices. When the 20 minutes is up slowly drop noodles in one at a time while soup is boiling then boil 12-15 more minutes to cook the noodle. THEN YOU ARE DONE WITH THE YUMMY SOUP.

Just Being Kids...

Gavin is still a little to short to turn off the light by himself so he finds ways to make himself taller. I am really surprised that this toy didn't tip over there was barely room for him to stand on the top of it. When he got up on the very top of his toy he then used his hammer to fix the wall as he would say and then pull down the light switch.

Saydee was just trying to tumble on the couch even though she knows that mom and dad do not like her to do it she does it anyways. Her favorite thing to do is run as fast as she can and jump head first into the couch. The whole couch tips back and hits the wall I really hate when she does this but she just loves it.

What crazy kids I told them to smile and this is how the picture turned out. Saydee's smile is pretty cute but Gavin just looks full of it. I am sure he is just thinking what he can get into next. I just love the messes they make JUST KIDDING.

THERE WAS NO FIGHT FOR CODY...

So for one week Cody sucked weight so he could fight 185 and was told that there was a guy he was going to fight. Early in the morning on Saturday he got a call saying that the guy he was suppose to fight couldn't make weight so would he fight up again and he said NO. I don't know why they would think he would fight up to 205 when he had been sucking weight all week to make 185. I personally think the guy in charge has it out for him and is just trying to screw him over. That didn't really make any sense because they hadn't even weighed in yet STUPID. Well anyways that is that and I will post when the next one will be.

Coupons...

THESE ARE MY FAVORITE PLACES TO GET COUPONS

bettycrocker.com
pillsbury.com
land-o-lake.com
bar-s.com
thegrocerygame.com
redplum.com

You can get on and print the coupons you need for that week its fun and great savings too. My secret is I signed both me and Cody up so I can print twice the coupons. Or anyone else that you know that doesn't care if you use their email to print coupons. These are the sites that I found all of my coupons for last weeks double coupon thing at Albertsons. They would double 6 coupons up to $1.00 so that meant that I got quite a few things for free once they doubled them. So happy savings and good luck.

The Weekend Down South...

Cody had Guard this weekend and it was in Beaver so I decided to go to visit the family down south. I also had to get in some usual shopping at Albertsons and Smiths my bill on groceries would have been 260.00 but using the double coupon thing at Albertsons once on Saturday and then again on Sunday I only paid out just over $40 and I have $15 off my next purchases for next time. I love finding deals and saving money I think it is kind of like a hobby. The picture above is of the kids the night Tia and my Mom took them to Jumping Jacks (Tia has pictures on her blog of that). Thanks Guys.

Then Great Grandma M. found these awesome laser guns at walmart Gavin absolutely loved them. We had a lot of fun with everyone and hope to see you all again soon love you all and thanks for having us.

Canyon Pictures

We went for a ride up the low road yesterday so that I could get some pictures for a few frames I have for the living room.

By the end of it all Gavin was wanting to stay in the truck by himself. I think that the pictures turned out pretty good.

When we got home I printed them out in a sepia tone(brown and white) and put them in the frames. Cody helped hang them up today and they look so cute.
I don't know what I would do without my camera I love to take pictures and keep them all for everyone to see.
