At first the insurance said they couldn't pay because we hadn't added that to our policy. I had just said it wrong I told them that the toilet backed up, but that isn't what happened a piece of the toilet broke so it just kept running the clean water out on the floor so now that they know that they are going to pay for it. We will probably be getting new flooring in the Master bedroom, hall, kids room and probably the Kitchen if everything works out. Its crazy that if the toilet backs up they don't cover it but if the toilet actually breaks then they do I don't know. We have to pay our $500 deductible but after that it is covered. I hope it doesn't take a month to get things back how they were because it is a mess I can't even get to my stuff. When they go to put in the new flooring I don't know where we are going to put everything. We are going to have to practically move out ha ha ha not so funny.

Our House Had A FLOOD!!!!
So Saturday morning Cody woke up to 2 inches of water in the bathroom and we thought that it only went out into the hall. But we soon found out that the kids room was soaked our room and part of the kitchen. We had to pull up the carpet and take the pad out because it wouldn't dry and doing so in the kids bedroom we found this crazy flowered floor. That part of the house is so old it is I bet a hundred year or older we don't really know. What we do know is that it use to be a 2 bedroom cabin back in the day.
Our room was also worse then we had thought. The water had gone all the way to our closet and along the wall behind our bed. WHAT A MESS...
This is the hall it once had carpet too. In the kitchen It is about 2 to 3 feet from the wall and 6-8 feet into the kitchen to the pantry. I am hoping the insurance will do something but you know how that goes we wont hold our breath. We all had to sleep in the front room because you can't even get to our beds. This suck I hate it and I hope that it is taken care of soon.Posted by mandy85 at 7:25 AM 3 comments

WHEN WE WOKE UP...
So when we woke up this morning there was snow once again. I just wish it would stay warm I am sick of the cold. The kids want to play outside so bad but they both have runny noses so I am making them stay in. What a mean mom at least that is what Saydee says. She tells me almost every day that I don't do anything fun and that I am mean I think it is just the age. I hope it warms up for all of us so the kids can get outside and use all that energy they have. Come on warm weather where are you...

My New Cook Wear...
For so long I have wanted some cast iron cook wear I just didn't what to spend that much money on it. Yesterday afternoon I got a coupon book in the mail from RcWilley and they had these in them. The big 7.5 Qt was $30 and the two skillets were $25 as a set. If you were to go an buy them somewhere else they would be well over a $100 per pan. When Cody got off work I came up to him and said Honey what would you think about going up north again. He looked at me and said OK what for so I showed him the coupons and being the loving husband he is he just went along with it. Also the other day in the mail I got a $50 gift card just for being a Advantage Member from when we bought our TV and entertainment center so in the end I only paid $5.14 for all three I am love'n' it. Thanks Honey for understanding how much I wanted these I love you.

Our Trip Up North
We went up north last night to find an area rug for the front room. This is the one that we found and I think it looks pretty good in there. We got a darker one so it wouldn't be as easy for the kids to destroy it ha ha. OK a funny thing we were thinking of taking our car ha ha there is no way on earth that rug would of fit in our little car. We also went our to eat at The Olive Garden it was good the best part was the yummy treat at the end.
Sometimes Cody and I get in these moods where we just go a spend money on shoes. I love shoes but we hardly ever just go and get them but when we do we usually each get two pairs. This time we only got one pair each. I am excited to wear mine I love them. We went to Famous Footwear and they were having a buy one get one 1/2 off YES that was great. Maybe we should have got two pairs each JUST KIDDING.Posted by mandy85 at 10:06 AM 1 comments

Gavin Talk...
So yesterday on our way home from church Gavin was saying look at that water. The thing is he has started to say some words really funny like he is trying to make them sound different. I ask him how do you say water I want Daddy to hear it. He said WITH MY MOUTH. He didn't even have to think about it he just said it. To Cody and I it seemed pretty clever to just say that off the top of his head. It was like how else would I say it. Kids are so funny sometimes with what they say.

Disney on Ice...
So this weekend I traveled up north with my parents and my kids we stayed Friday night in a hotel and on Saturday we met up with Tia's family and went to Disney on Ice.
Our hotel was in Sandy so we rode the Trax train into Salt Lake it was pretty fun and the kids loved it. Cody couldn't come because he had to work that sucked I wish he could of been there.
Gavin and Tanner got swords to take home they loved sword fighting with each other. The girls each got Minnie Mouse it was cute they were making there toys talk to each other asking where did you get your dress it's just like mine. Crazy kids if you ask me.
This was a fun show to go see the girls just sat there and didn't move an inch. Gavin was up and down quite a bit and kept telling me I want to go home. At the very end Gavin fell asleep and Landon help carry him back because we had to get on the train and everything. I don't know if my back would of made it with me packing him thanks Landon. Also thanks Tia for getting the tickets and to my mom and dad for putting up with us for a day and a half it was fun. Love you all.Posted by mandy85 at 2:28 PM 0 comments
My Shopping Craziness
So I shopped Smith's ad this week and this is what I got for $32.80
- 4 Oreo's
- 1 Colgate toothpaste and toothbrush
- 2 12pks pudding snack packs
- 1 bag of chips
- 1 instant oatmeal
- 5 boxes of mini wheat's
- 1 large bag pretzels
- 5 Quaker rice snack bags
- 11 16oz pasta's
In the end I had bought 32 items and only spent the $32.80 just over a dollar per item. I think I did really good if you think when you buy a box of mini wheat's for almost $4 a box or Oreo's for $3.50 its great.
Target and Walgreen's between both stores I only spent $25.00
- 5pks pull-ups
- 4-184ct huggies baby wipes
- 1 big pk diapers
- 1 biore nose strips
on the pull-ups they were $5 dollars a pk at Walgreen's and 2 where free with the store credit that my mom used right after she got the other 3. Thanks Mom
The huggies wipes were 5.99 each then I used my $5 coupons making each one only .99
Biore nose strips were 5.49 but I used a $2 coupon so 3.49
Target diapers were 10.59 for 64 diapers
I had signed up for e-bates and when I did that they sent me a free $10 gift card to target I used that making all this stuff come to just under $25 with tax. I you know how much diapers , wipes and, pull-ups can be that is great. Pull-ups are usually around $14 for the size I got. At that price I wouldn't even be able to by 2 pks. I love seeing how much I can save on the things we use every day. Happy shopping everyone.

The Kids Riding Their 4-wheelers

It was so funny seeing Gavin ride his 4-wheeler all by himself. I was just laughing my butt off because he wouldn't even look where he was going. He would turn his head and look at me or Cody and just smile so so big. Saydee is getting so good at it she knows how to use the foot brake and everything. Posted by mandy85 at 9:58 AM 0 comments

On The Way... 3 more listings of the cruise
On the way to Long Beach in Yermo, California we stopped to eat at Peggy Sue's Diner. Cody's Grandma and also our freind Scott had told us that Peggy Sue's has the best burgers and shakes. We stopped and had a shake it was so good. On the way home we also stopped and had a burger and some deep fried pickles we just wanted to try them to say we had and they are really good.
We had reservations at this Courtyard Marriott in Hesperia, California for the first night of our trip.
We made it to Long Beach on the 2ND day and this is our hotel while we were there.Posted by mandy85 at 10:29 AM 4 comments
Our Cruise...
This is the name of the ship we were on The Carnival Paradise. This is when were were getting on the ship for the first time.
Inside this is how it looked this is right in the middle of the ship as we came in
This is just a place you could relax and EAT. One night there was a guy playing his guitar and singing he was pretty good. Some little girl stopped to listen and he asked one do you want to sing with me. The little girl hopped right up and started singing twinkle twinkle little star before he could even start playing the song. It was so cute and the other little girl also got up after the first one. The first one had to of only been 3 years old.Posted by mandy85 at 10:05 AM 0 comments

On The Cruise...
Our first stop on our cruise was Santa Catalina Island we were told that it is only 30 miles from Long Beach where we left from. When we got there we stopped and booked a glass bottom boat tour in hopes to see some cool fish. We really didn't see much but at least it gave us something to do.
In this picture you can see our ship way in the back. We didn't dock at a port so we had to come over to the Island on a little charter boat. It was fun we found a little candy shop and bought a Carmel with chocolate apple it was delicious and also some Cinnamon bears. At this stop we had to be back to the ship by 4:30 or we would get left. I think we got back around 2 and went and ate lunch on the ship.
The next day we docked in Ensenada, Mexico we could get off at 9am and had to be back on by 9:30pm. I didn't really book anything before we left on the cruise because nothing sounded fun we just found things to do when we got there and they were a lot cheaper off the ship. We decided to go up and see a blow hole right by the ocean. I guess as waves come in it builds up pressure and then blows water high in the air. It was neat to see we watched it go off and soak a few people I was glad it wasn't me ha ha. After seeing that we went to try and do some shopping but it was hard the people were so pushy I hated it. They would wait for you to come out of one shop and pulled you into theirs. Finally we just went and ate some great tacos and just waited for our bus.Posted by mandy85 at 9:21 AM 1 comments
