The Camping Has Started...

On Friday right after work Cody pulled the trailer up to Taco Grande one of our favorite spots to camp. It is up Fillmore Canyon but it isn't one of the main camp grounds it is out of the way and a great spot for the kids to ride their 4-wheelers. Cody then came back for me I had stayed because I was still watching kids and I needed to pack the coolers. When he got back we also had to load all the 4-wheelers the kids in the back of the truck and ours on the trailer.

Cody roasting a hot dog. I love hot dogs that are done over the fire.
This is Our Camp with Our trailer and everything.
Cody's Gramzo and Ross came up Friday to roast hot dogs and hang out. By the time they were leaving we had Cody's Grandma wanting a trailer and had called on one Cody saw on KSL but it had sold. The next day when we talked to them they were headed up north to look for one. We ran down to town and looked on KSL for them and called them with a # to another good find. They went and saw it and bought it. We are so excited about their trailer we can't wait to got camping with them.
We tried out our new Quick Shade that my parents picked up for us on a sale. I am glad that we have it and am sure we will use it every time we go camping.
Gavin stole Mommy's chair what a handsome boy that loves to camp and get dirty.
At our camp this is how it looks all the way around us it is so nice.
Just another random picture of our camp.
Saturday we decided to go on a 4-wheeler ride on the way Gavin fell asleep so we had to stop to wake him up.
We pulled off at a little camp ground and let the kids play in the water. Right off the rock Cody is standing on the water is really deep.`
We stripped Gavin down to his underwear and yes he is all but potty trained I am so happy. We tried to talk Saydee into doing it to but she wouldn't. Cody would dunk him in the water up to his chest he loved it and didn't want to stop even though he was shivering.
Saturday afternoon Ish and his family came up to visit and have dinner. The kids had a lot of fun riding 4-wheelers and catching butterflies.

Cody is a big kid and was popping wheelies with Gavin on his little 4-wheeler. It scares me because Gavin loved it so much.
Ish gave his little boys Morgan and Tristan a ride also. These little 4-wheelers are as much fun for the adults as they are for the kids.
For dinner on Saturday we had dutch oven potatoes and chicken it all turned out really good.
The kids were so tired they fell right to sleep and didn't wake up until 8:30 the next morning at least it wasn't 7 like the morning before that. Then we had to pack up and go home the kids were sad and didn't want to leave. It was a fun camping trip that didn't cost much because we have the best mountains out our back door. We can't wait to do it again hopefully in 2 weeks.

4-wheeling

As a Family we love to go 4-wheeling and today after Cody got off work and I got back from the gym we took a ride up the Canyon. When we got there we let the kids throw rocks in the water for a while before we left.

The kids love it but it's hard because most of the time they fall asleep on the way up. Saydee is ready to head back home.
Gavin wanted to ride with Daddy on the way home so we let him.
What a big CHEESE...
Me and the Kids ready for the ride back down. On the ride down the Canyon Gavin fell asleep. All in all it was a good ride and we need to do it more often. I can't wait until the kids are old enough to ride there 4-wheelers but right now Gavin gets a little crazy he has tipped his over 2 time. Saydee is really good on hers and getting better every time she ride she says she wants to race.

CHERRY JAM

So Yesterday we went and picked cherries at Kens we picked 2 grocery bags for us and 3 to send down south to Grandma Marshall's. It took us an hour to pick them and when we were done you couldn't even tell we had picked any the tree still had millions on it. By the mess on Gavin's face you can tell that he ate as many as he picked.

So when we got done I juiced one whole bag and got 12cups of juice. Then today I pitted enough to make 4 cups crushed. I made 3 batches of Cherry jam 11 jars and there was a little left that we will have to eat. This was my first time making Cherry anything so I hope it is good. We still have enough to make 2 more batches that I will probably do Tomorrow. Juicing and pitting cherries isn't much fun I did it all by hand because I don't have a juicer or a pitter. I guess it didn't take as long as I thought it would I am glad I didn't go and spent money on those things when I can get it done by hand.

Happy Fathers Day...

Happy Fathers Day Honey the Kids and I just want to let you know how muck we love you. We hope Fathers Day was great. We kind of did a Birthday Fathers Day present We got him a Mini 14 something he has wanted and he is having a lot of fun with it.

Happy Fathers Day DAD we love you so much and the kids just can't get enough of you. You are the Greatest Dad ever sorry I was a lame 'o' and only sent a card. Love you so much and we can't wait to go fishing and camping again with You and Mom.

I put Saydee in swimming lessons this year and she loved it. I am glad that she had a few friends in her class kadyn and Tristan.

This is Saydee under the water.
The funny thing is that the last day she wouldn't go under.
Good job Sayd.

POOR LITTLE GIRL

My sweet little Saydee woke up on Friday morning with the right side for her face all swollen this is how she looked 2 days before this all happened.

So I called the Dentist in Cedar that we had been taking her to and they got her right in. She has an abscessed tooth. This Dentist couldn't really do anything so he referred me to Dr. Albrecht a Pediatric Dentist. She ended up needing surgery to take out the two teeth that were infected and he also fixed all of the work the other dentist had done what a waste of money. In the x-rays that Dr. Albrecht showed me at the hospital you could see under every cavity the other dentist had filled they were already going black again. I wish I would of know about Dr. Albrecht in the first place it would of saved us $800.00 probably more because we wouldn't of been in this situation. All of this new work is going to cost well over $1,000.00 and that is with insurance.

Poor little Saydee Bug she only wanted her Grandma and this is the 4th place we had to go on this day. We went to the first dentist who sent us to Dr. Albrecht then we had to have her seen for a physical to see if she was healthy enough to have the surgery last stop was the Hospital.

She fell fast asleep I don't blame her we had been everywhere and anywhere that day and she had kept me up until 4am the night before.

This is after she came out of surgery and the first thing she asked was to see her teeth.

The day after surgery it looks bad but I guess it gets worse before it gets better. Today her face is back to normal and she is eating whatever she wants. I feel like the worst parent but I guess I was doing the right thing because I had been taking her to the dentist on a regular basis. The dentist just didn't get all the cavity so it just got worse. I am so sorry Sayd and at least we have a GOOD Dentist now.
