Otter Creek 2012

Every year my family gets together at Otter Creek for fun and fishing. This year Cody and I didn't get to stay because on our way there our tranny in our truck went out for the third time in 4 months. The tranny is under warranty but I don't know why they aren't fixing it right it sucks. Once we got our trailer back home thanks to Ish we loaded up the car and took the kids to stay with my parents for two days.
When we got there Chloe was reeling in a nice 3 pound fish so despite the wind we stayed and fished for an hour or two.
Gav was so patient waiting for a bite.....
and he actually got to reel in like six fish but we threw back the small ones.
Chloe's outfit reminds me of when I was little fishing with my Dad and Grandpa.
I just love seeing these two fishing it is just so cute.

So in the hour or so that we were there battling the wind we caught all together seven 3 pound fish it was awesome. This reminds me of the good old days that we use to spend with Gramp and Gram Marshall at Otter Creek.

Just getting out of the wind for a second. I was so bummed that we didn't get to camp at the lake but at least we got to see the kids catch some nice fish. I am glad that the rest of the family was able to be there and have fun.
